Who is the intended audience?
Teachers, administrators, intervention staff, and Special Ed. staff
What data is reported?
For each student in a class section for a particular DIBELS, DIBELS Next, or IDEL assessment: performance band acquired for each indicator (such as Initial Sound Fluency), performance band acquired for each indicator, and instructional support recommended based on odds of achieving subsequent goals.
How is the data reported?
A class section’s students are listed with results.
This report works best when viewing benchmark assessments, on which students were tested on multiple indicators (Nonsense Word Fluency, Letter Naming Fluency, etc.). Recommended instructional supports are based on performance bands on all of the assessment’s indicators. For example, different combinations of indicator performance bands render different odds of achieving subsequent goals, and thus render different recommendations. Reference https://dibels.uoregon.edu and other DIBELS/IDEL resources to see what performance band combinations equate to each recommendation for each benchmark.
