All clients (ISI, DNA, ISE) are able to use the dashboard, but configurations are based on the product, data available, and data stored in DnA.
Getting Your Data Dashboard Ready
The accountability dashboard is configured based on available data with your DnA instance. Additional configurations may be included but will require additional data imports, configurations, and setups. Some configurations are unique to that of a Student Information System and cannot be configured successfully, unless using that specific product.
Before you start configuring, the following document further explains how your current data imports and use of DnA is already supported with the Accountability Dashboard.
Permissions
Users with the permission to Share Jasper Prebuilts are those who can use the following steps to configure the dashboard.
Once the dashboard is shared to others, users can view the current configurations of how it has been set up.
Where to Start

- Go to Reports.
- Select View Reports.
- Search Accountability Dashboard. Select the report from the list.
- Select Setup to configure the report.
This configuration will provide information in regards to Ethnicity Status, English Learner Status, Special Education status, and SED status.
1. Select Enable to include this configuration.
2. Select the student set, by default it is set to Currently Enrolled, which means students who are actively enrolled as of today.
- Other options available: Current Academic Year (all students who were enrolled within the academic year) and Prior Academic Year (all students who were enrolled within the prior academic year). This means a student who may have been enrolled at any point in the academic year will be included.
While this is available to all clients, there are additional data sets within the studemo.txt and programs.txt files that are required and are not traditionally part of the basic setup for DNA clients.
This configuration is looking at SBA ELA and Math, on the 11th grade test with a 3 or 4 score summative performance level, for current 12th graders.
This requires the use and import of desired CAASPP state data/known import files.
1. Select Enable to include this configuration.
2. Select the student set, by default it is set to Prior Academic Year, which will look at students from the previous academic year.
3. Set a EAP ELA Goal by entering a value between and 100.
4. Select a Dataset or State Assessment information you have previously imported.
Repeat the above steps for EAP Math.
This configuration is for California clients only.
This configuration requires the import of State Assessment data for Early Assessment Program or EAP for areas such as ELA and Math. If data has not been imported, the configuration will not work as expected.
This configuration is looking at three elements for Advanced Placement:
- AP Pass Rate, which is dependent on the state data/known import
- AP Testing Rate, which is dependent on both the AP Test State/Known Data Import and accurate enrollment data
- AP Enrollment Rate, which is dependent on Course Weight
This requires the use and import of desired CAASPP state data/known import files.

1. Select Enable to include this configuration.
2. Select the student set, by default it is set to Prior Academic Year, which will look at students from the previous academic year.
3. Set a Goal for % of Students Passing Advanced Palcement (AP) Exams by entering a value between and 100.
4. Select the Dataset or State Assessment information you have previously imported to support this configuration.
Repeat the above steps for % of Students Who Took at Least 1 Advanced Placement (AP) Exam, which will provide information on students who took at minimum one AP exam during the prior academic year.
Repeat the above steps for % of Students Enrolled in at Least 1 Advanced Placement (AP) Course, which will provide information on students who were enrolled in at minimum one AP course during the prior academic year.
While this is available to all clients, there are additional data sets within the courses.txt files that are required and are not traditionally part of the basic setup for DNA clients such as:
- Course Weight
This configuration also requires the import of State Assessment data for Advanced Placement or AP assessments. If data has not been imported, the configuration will not work as expected.
State Assessments
Currently, based on your instance, the supported State Assessments include:
- CA (CAASPP: SBA/CST)
- AZ (AzMERIT)
- Milestones (GA), and
- M-STEP (MI)
This requires the use and import of desired CAASPP and/or CST state data/known import files.

1. Select Enable to include this configuration.
2. Select the student set, by default it is set to Prior Academic Year, which will look at students from the previous academic year.
3. Set a Goal for State Assessment (SBA-CA) ELA by entering a value between and 100.
4. Select the Dataset or State Assessment information you have previously imported to support this configuration.
Repeat the above steps for State Assessment (SBA-CA) Math, which will provide information on students based on the summative final results, during the prior academic year.
Repeat the above steps for State Assessment (SBA-CA) Science, which will provide information on students based on the summative final results, during the prior academic year.
This configuration of is for California clients only.
This configuration also requires the import of State Assessment data for Advanced Placement or AP assessments. If data has not been imported, the configuration will not work as expected.
This configuration will provide information in regards to EL State Data/Known Imports (as they vary by state) and additional data elements within the studemo.txt file.
Reclassification Rate is dependent on both the Redesignation Date and English Learner/LEP Date within the studemo.txt file.

1. Select Enable to include this configuration.
2. Select the student set, by default it is set to Prior Academic Year.
3. Set a Goal for EL Reclassification Rate by entering a value between 0 and 100.

5. Set a Goal for [State Assessment] Proficiency by entering a value between 0 and 100.
6. Select the Dataset or State Assessment information you have previously imported for the previous academic year.
While this is available to all clients, there are additional data sets within the studemo.txt files that are required and are not traditionally part of the basic setup for DNA clients such as:
- Redesignation Date
- English Learner/LEP Date
This configuration also requires the import of State Assessment data as appropriate for the state. If data has not been imported, the configuration will not work as expected.
States currently supported include:
- CELDT Proficiency (Calfornia) is dependent on:
