This lesson will guide you through the process of reassociating GradeBooks to sections/rosters that have been changed or deleted. This brings the colors back to the Gradebook.
Want to see this feature in action? Watch the video below.
Where to Start
Typically, if this has happened you will receive the message within a GradeBook:
"We have detected that some assignments are not correctly affiliated to a course or student group. This will negatively affect score calculations. Please click here to address the issue."
This means there were some scheduling changes that need you to reconnect the right students or class to the gradebook.
Reassociate the GradeBook
1. Within the error message, click the here link to begin the reassociation process.
Did you navigate away and miss the here link? No problem! Go to the Setup tab, then click Mass Assignment/Student Association.
2. In the Sections portion, check the box next to your class section.
*Groups is a deprecated or feature we no longer support, please do not select.
3. In the Assignments portion, select all of your assignments by clicking the All link.
4. Optional: If you would like to select individual assignments, use the checkboxes under the Update? column.
5. Click Reassociate.
That's it! You will receive a success message at the top of the page.
