This lesson will guide you through re-scoring an Item Bank assessment. Re-scoring an assessment re-aggregates student results with current assessment details. As the assessment author, you are able to re-score the test to update the responses.
Re-scoring assessments should not be common practice. If assessments aren't updating automatically and the reason is not clear, please contact the Support team at dnasupport@illuminateed.com.
Where to Start
- Go to Assessments.
- Select View Assessments.
- Choose the assessment to re-score.
Visit the Advanced Menu
- Select the Gear to open Advanced Settings.
- Select the Advanced Tab.
- Select Re-Score.
This feature is only available for the assessment author. If a user is not the assessment author, they'll want to reach out to the owner of the assessment to re-score the assessment on their behalf.
Re-score Student Responses
- Select Go to re-score the assessment.
- When the assessment has finished re-scoring, a green banner stating, "Aggregates have been populated successfully" appears at the top of the screen.
