DnA is excited to offer the opportunity to dive into our brand new Item Bank! This lesson provides a Quick Guide on the main features of the new Item Bank.
What Can a User?
In the new Item Bank, users can:
Create an Item Bank Assessment
- Select Assessments, then Create Assessment.
- Select the Item Bank assessment tile.
- Enter an Assessment Name into the text box.
- Select Create.
- Take a look at Creating an Item Bank Assessment to continue creating the assessment!
Until published, this assessment is considered unpublished or a draft. When returning to a user's DnA account, the assessment can be found in View Assessments.
Finding Assessments a User Created
- Select Assessments, then View Assessments.
- A user's assessments that are both published and unpublished will appear in the My Assessment list with the most recently created at the top.
- Select the title of an assessment to view the assessment.
- Select Actions for additional options such as Administer, Preview, or Delete the assessment.
Create a New Item
- Select Assessments, then Browse Item Bank.
- Select Create Item.

Finding Items a User Created
- Select Assessments, then Browse Item Bank.
- Use the checkbox to select My Items.
- Created items appear in the item list on the right.
