This lesson will show an administrator how to change the author of an assessment. This allows that person complete access to editing, sharing, and all functions of the assessment and becoming the primary author of the assessment. You must be the author to pass on the authorship of an assessment.
This option is only available for manual/hybrid and flexible assessments.
Where to Start

- Go to Assessments.
- Select View Assessments.
- Click on the title of the assessment to edit.
Select the New Author

- Click on the Advanced tab.
- Select Change Assessment Author.
Verify Changes

- Select the name of the new author in the dropdown.
- Click the checkboxes acknowledging the change.
- Click Change the Author.

A confirmation will appear and redirect to the assessment list.
