This lesson will guide you through attendance procedures such as Monthly/Weekly Verification Forms and Taking Attendance by Class Roster, as an Office Staff user.
Use this as a guide to facilitate the training in a computer lab. Show the videos before users log in or view one video at time so users can follow along.

- Only those with the appropriate permissions are able to replicate the activities within this lesson
- Based on the district's unique needs, attendance options may differ than those presented in this lesson
- Confirm with your IT/Technology Teamyour ability to access VIMEO on site/district computers
Office Attendance, Part 1
Monthly/Weekly Verification Forms

Navigation: Attendance > Under Forms, select Monthly/Weekly Verification Forms
Use to generate Substitute Attendance Forms by conducting the following:
- Select a Range and Submit to generate the report
- Select a Section Filter such as Teachers, Grade Levels, or Periods and Houses
- Select Teachers that are absent and to generate forms for
- Select a Section, Week, and other options which include Lunch Counts, Single Period Forms, Show Student ID, and Show Grade Level
- Select Submit to generate the report

Take Attendance by Class Roster

Navigation: Attendance > By Class Roster
When taking Attendance:
- This is the only screen where you can take attendance on behalf of the teacher
- The page will default on an available section
- Ability to change the date to take attendance for
- Use the Select Section dropdown to select a section or class
- Enter Lunch Counts for both the Teacher and Student, if applicable
- Additional Attendance Flags not available to teacher users are available to select for each student
- After making any selections or changes, always select Save to submit and save results
Other Attendance options include:
- Select Download to generate a weekly or monthly summary of attendance
- Select the student's name to visit the Student Profile Report
- View next to the student's name provides the student's individual attendance summary
- Alerts are displayed to the left of a student's last name, if applicable
