I have closed the REED and published the Reeval IEP but the Most Recent Initial/Reeval IEP Date in the Important Dates section of the Students Module did not update.
This lesson is intended to be helpful in troublshooting why the Important Dates are not updated when a REED has been closed and a Reeval IEP published.
Why doesn't this date update even though I have closed my REED and published my Reeval IEP?
Where to Start
After opening a student's record (see the "Find a Student" lesson in the "Students" manual for help), click the Special Ed tab near the top of your screen. Under Process, click IEP Details.
From the IEP Wizard Quick Resume Menu, select IEP Wizard Invitation.
For more information on how to navigate the IEP Wizard, see the "Navigating the IEP Wizard" chapter in the Complete an Eligible IEP Manual.
Ensure that in the IEP the team has selected that the purpose of the meeting is "To determine eligibility for special education programs or services and, if appropriate, to develop an individualized education program (IEP)."
If the team does not indicate the above selection, the Important Dates section of the Student Module WILL NOT be updated.
