This lesson contains an explanation of how to input parental attendance at the IEP Team meeting.
This lesson requires that you have selected a student and are viewing a single student's record. If you are unsure how to locate a student, see the "Find a Student" lesson in the "Students" manual for help.
This lesson also requires that you have added an invitation and input participant information. For more information on how to add an invitation and participant information see the, "Create an IEP Invitation" chapter in this manual.
Where to Start
To create an Invitation click on Special Ed-> IEP Details-> Click "Select Action" Dropdown-> Click "Wizard Quick Resume"
From the IEP Wizard Quick Resume Menu, select Begin IEP (IEP Parental Attendance).
Indicate Parental Attendance
Select Yes or No to indicate parental attendance at the IEP meeting.
Make sure that the "Yes" radio button has been selected and click "Next."
Make sure that the "No" radio button has been selected and click "Next."
1. Enter the Date of contact.
2. Indicate the Method of contact.
3. Type the name of the person who attempted to make contact with the student's parents.
4. Click Add New Attempt.
5. Click Next.
Note: Repeat as necessary to document all attempts to contact parents.
By clicking Save or Next you will automatically be taken to the IEP Participants page.
