This lesson will guide you through uploading state data files into DnA. It is important to use the raw data the state provides. You can upload any year of state data directly to DnA.
Required Permission: Manage Core Data Import Transformations
Where to Start
- Click on the Administration Gear.
- Under Data, click Assessment Data Imports.
Add Data
- From the drop-down menu, select the dataset you would like to import data for.
- Click Choose File and select the file from your computer.
- Click Import.
Files that have been exported or modified from another program/system may not import into DnA successfully.
Review Your Import
- Check the status of your import. The Finished status will display if your import went through successfully.
- Download the Log File for your import.
- Open the table_counts.html file to review Records Added, Records Rejected, and Table Totals.
After 30 days, any uploaded file will be automatically purged. All successfully uploaded data will remain in DnA, but the file will no longer be saved within the system. Import logs will still remain accessible to users.
Next Steps
Now that you've imported data, some datasets have Prebuilt Reports.
