Your child's school offers a parent portal ("Illuminate Home Connection") provided by Illuminate Education. This lesson will show you how to log in to an already-registered account so that you can regularly and easily see how your child is performing in his or her class(es), view upcoming assignments, and more.
Where to Start
Visit the Home Connection URL (web address) given to you by your child's school district. The URL will be similar to the one shown above but will be specific to your school district. For example, if your student is part of Specialist School District, you would visit specialist.illuminatehc.com. You can also search for your student's school district on the site listed above. You will also need the email address you provided to the school and the access code generated by the school in order to register and then log in.
1. If you've already registered for the portal, simply enter your Username and Password.
2. Click Login.

You will be automatically routed to your child's records in the Home Connection parent portal.
The portal is interactive. Feel free to click any tile or sidebar tab to explore.
1. Click on sidebar tab or tile to see information on your student's Assessments, Attendance, or Gradebook assignments.
2. When you are finished viewing the parent portal, click Logout in the upper-right corner of your screen to log off.
