After you request SSIDs from California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS) for your new students, the Import SSIDs page allows you to upload the file you receive from CALPADS and use it to fill in the missing SSIDs for those students.
Before You Get Started
Once you've retrieved the file from CALPADS, please DO NOT open the file. Leave it intake and as received, to make sure the data imports correctly and as expected.
Where to Start
1. Click on Reports.
2. Under Admin, select Select Reporting.
3. Select the report CALPADS Import SSIDs.
Click Choose File.
Navigate to select the SSID file received from CALPADS:
1. Open the file (e.g., My Documents, Desktop, etc.) that contains the file you wish to import and select the file name.
2. Click Open.
After your SSID file is selected, click Submit.
Preview and Update
Preview the results of the SSID update. When you are finished, click Update IDs to complete the update.
You will receive a confirmation message (as shown above) that the SSIDs successfully updated, which means you have completed this lesson.
