This lesson serves as a guide to the Attendance Component of the Michigan Student Data System submission.
Days Attended is a sum of all of the "Present" attendance flags during the count period.
A student needs to be present for at least 50% of the day to be reported as "Present" for the full day.
Total Possible Attendance
Total Possible Attendance is a sum of all the "In Session" days during the count period.
