This lesson will guide you through creating and ending a LAP student program. These programs are to be included in your CEDARS Q File, and if they are not created on the LAP page (found on the student programs page), the Q file will not populate as expected. LAP programs serve eligible students who need academic support for reading, writing, and math, or those who need readiness skills to learn these core subjects. There is a special emphasis on reading literacy in the early grades.
LAP program updates will also be managed in this location. These programs are specific to Washington State Reporting and program codes must be entered into the Student Programs Code Table prior to LAP programs being created by school staff. If you do not have a program that you are looking for, contact your System Admin and they can create the needed code.
