Primary Disability
The Primary Disability characteristic is pulled from the Special Ed Tab-> Student Primary Disability View link.
Note: These values are automatically generated as IEPs are created in Illuminate.
Secondary Disability
The Secondary Disability characteristic is pulled from the Special Ed Tab-> Student Secondary Disability View link.
Note: These values are automatically generated as IEPs are created in Illuminate.
Support Services
Support Services are reported from the Special Ed Tab-> Student Support Service Details link.
Only services that overlap the count period will be reported.
Note: Support Services are automatically generated by publishing an IEP and only programs with a state code will be reported.
Program Service Code
The Program Service Code characteristic is reported from the Special Ed Tab-> Student Program Code Details link.
Only programs that overlap the count period will be reported.

Primary Educational Setting
The Primary Educational Setting is pulled from the "Instructional Setting" field under the Special Ed Tab-> Student Demographics link.
Placed By Another District IEP
The Placed by Another District IEP characteristic is generated from the "Placed by Another District IEP" field under the Special Ed Tab-> Student Demographics link.
SpecEd Exit Reason
The SpecEd Exit Reason is generated based on the following rules:
If a student has an ineligible IEP or IFSP during the count period = True, then Code "30"
If a student has a parent revocation of an IEP or IFSP during the count period = True, then Code "30"
If both of the above = False, then no SpecEd Exit Reason is reported.
SpecEd Exit Date
The SpecEd Exit Date = Date of Ineligible IEP/IFSP or Date of Parent Revocation
Section 52 FTE
Section 52 FTE is reported if the "Section 53" field is flagged "No" under the Special Ed Tab-> Student Demographics link.
The FTE is determined by dividing the sum of the program hours by the ratio of clock hours to instructional weeks (i.e., Sum of Program Hours/(Total Building Clock Hours/Instructional Weeks).
Section 53 FTE
Section 53 FTE is reported if the "Section 53" field is flagged "Yes" under the Special Ed Tab-> Student Demographics link.
The FTE is determined by dividing the sum of the program hours by the ratio of clock hours to instructional weeks (i.e., Sum of Program Hours/(Total Building Clock Hours/Instructional Weeks).
