Multi Trait Rubrics are now available for Constructed Response items in the New Item Bank.
Multi Trait Rubrics allow for student responses to be scored against multiple traits or criteria, such as organization and voice. Traits can be categorized under different scales, allowing for each to be scored with a different maximum point scale. These rubrics are well suited for use with essay questions where a longer response is expected.

When viewing the Assessment Blueprint report for a New Item Bank assessment containing a Constructed Response item with a Multi Trait Rubric, each trait in the rubric is counted as an individual question in the Number of Questions statistics. This functionality is projected to be corrected with future rubric updates.

Administrations via bubble sheets or Grade by Camera/Scanner still only allow for up to 9 points; higher max points will need to be manually scored in Enter/Edit.
