This lesson walks through aggregating scores for Flexible and Item Bank assessments. After altering standards, question groups, or question weight values for an assessment that has been administered to students, the assessment author can reaggregate student results so that reports display with the updated assessment details.
Needing to aggregate assessment scores should not be common practice. If your assessments aren't updating automatically and you're not sure why, please contact the DnA Support team by submitting a request.
Before You Begin
Required Permissions: This feature is only available for the assessment author. If you are not the author of the assessment, please contact the owner of the assessment to do this for you.
Why Aggregate?
It is recommended to ensure that all assessment details, including linked standards, questions groups, and question weight values, are added and solidified before beginning to administer the assessment to students. However, there are scenarios where assessments will need to be updated after they have already been administered, and student scores have been recorded.
Adding and updating assessment standards, question groups, or question weights can alter how student's raw scores and responses would be scored and displayed within DnA prebuilt reports. Using the Aggregate feature after completing changes to an administered assessment ensures that student data is reaggregated within reports to reflect the assessment updates.
Where to Start

- Go to Assessments.
- Select View Assessments.
- Select the title of the assessment to aggregate scores for.
