Go to the OPEN Initial IEP, select IEP Wizard Publish from the IEP Wizard Quick Resume Menu.
WARNING: PUBLISHING AN IEP CANNOT BE UNDONE. BE SURE ALL INFORMATION IS ACCURATE BEFORE PUBLISHING THE IEP.
1. Select the Check Box to indicate that you have previewed the IEP and that ALL information is accurate.
2. Click the Publish IEP link to publish the IEP OR Click the Close link to close the IEP without publishing any data.

1. Input the End Date of the IEP (this date automatically populates one year out from the day of publish so unless you would like the IEP to end before the one year mark you can leave the date unchanged).
2. Use the drop down to select how the parent(s)/guardian(s) were informed of the Notice of the Initial Offer of FAPE.
3. Select the Date Notice was provided to the parent(s)guardian(s).
4. Select the appropriate option for Consent for Initial Provision of Program and Services.
- Parent(s)/Guardian(s) Consented
- Parent(s)/Guardian(s) Refused Consent
- Awaiting Consent
- IEP Team Determine Student Ineligible
NOTES:
1) If Awaiting Consent is selected, then you will need to complete the consent process within the IEP Page once Consent is known.
2) If you select either Parent(s)/Guardian(s) Consented OR Parent(s)/Guardian(s) Refused Consent the system will require the date of the Initial Consent or Refusal of Consent.
5. Indicate whether you are sure you want to publish the IEP. WARNING: Publication is Irreversible!
6. Select Publish.

1. Select the Initial consent obtained (or if Parent(s)/Guardian(s) did not respond).
Parent(s)/Guardian(s) Consented: Enter in the date the Consent was received and select Publish.
Parent(s)Guardian(s) Refused Consent: Enter in the date the Consent was refused and select Publish.
Parent(s)Guardian(s) Didn't Respond: Select Yes or No as appropriate in response to Reasonable Attempts were made to contact the Parent(s)/Guardian(s). Note: Ensure that the IEP team waited at least ten school days and that numerous documented attempts to contact the Parent(s)/Guardian(s) were made.
If Yes is select then you will enter in two documented attempts to contact the parent(s)/guardian(s).
Select Publish.
If Awaiting Consent was selected within the Initial IEP Publish options in response to the question, Consent for Initial Provision of Program and Services, the Status column will show Awaiting Consent and no service(s), program(s), eligibility will show for the student until the Consent has been entered into the system.
1. To enter in the Consent results, select Awaiting Consent.
