Navigation Overview

The screen shot above depicts the side navigation bar. Depending on your permissions and enabled features, your navigation bar may contain different, fewer, or more tools and features.

1. Home, or the DnA icon, will always take you back home to the Tile Dashboard. As you scroll over, the icon will change direct you back to the tile dashboard.
2. Search for students, tools, features, and help lessons using our Quick Switcher.
3. Modules available are listed based on permission and access. When selected, a navigation menu will roll out to the right with all available tools and features.
4. The Cog Wheel is nestled at the bottom, which typically holds permissible features such as User Management, Online Registration tools, and more.
5. Select the Help icon to access all materials to support you.

Select your User Information icon on the top of the navigation panel.

1. All user information appears at the top, including username, academic year, and term.
2. Select the corresponding links to update Notification Preferences, Change Password, or Sign Out.
3. Select the X to close the User Information window.

Your computer determines how to activate the Quick Switcher.

• For PCs, select and hold CTRL + K
• For Apple or Mac, select and hold Command (CMD) + K

The Quick Switcher will pop-up on your screen.

1. Type Sign Out in the search bar.
2. Using your keyboard arrows, select Sign Out and Enter. If using your mouse, click Sign Out and Enter.

• The menu bar to the left is the main navigational bar. When selected, a sub-navigation menu will appear and rollout to the right. The sub navigation menu contains tools and features pertaining to the module, based on permission.
• To close the sub-navigation menu, select the module icon or the X on the top right corner.

You can also click on any tile to navigate to a specific section within DnA with one click. These are customizable per user! For more information, visit All About Dashboard Tiles and Customize Your Tile Dashboard.

Access the Control Panel by selecting the icon at the top right hand corner of the screen.

1. Account information, including username, role, site, and academic year appear under Login Information.
2. Edit Account includes the options to Change Password or Sign Out.
3. Under Help, select Need help? Click here to access the help center.

You can also select the Data Dashboard icon on the top righthand side of the dashboard. The Data Dashboard can be modified and customized in your account. Visit All About Data Dashboard Widgets and Customize Your Data Dashboard to get your dashboard ready.
