This checklist is to guide Report Card Admin during Report Card Entry. The following are basic questions you may have and actions to review before calling a Support Specialist.
Grades Are Not Populating on the Entry Screen
Mapping Fields is part of Map and Layout the Report Card which will direct the data where to print.
Only if Gradebooks have been created by the rostered teacher, have grades in assignments, and have been connected in Data Links, will Gradebook grades populate into the report card. Visit Configure Report Card Data Links for details.
Part of the Data Linking process is also ensuring that Gradebook settings and options match that of how the report card field will pull Gradebook data. You can also visit Admin's Guide to Setting Up Report Cards for Points Based/Standards-Referenced Gradebooks and Admin's Guide to Setting Up Report Cards for Standards Based Gradebooks for more detailed information.

I Can’t See My Report Cards for Any of My Students
Report Card Entry is accessibile to rostered teachers only, without additional permissions to do so.

The Grading Period is Closed. I Need it Opened Again!
The Grading Window is the first line of defense that gives you and your users extra time to review, enter or edit grades. It is the less evasive and less hassle. If your Grading Period Window has already closed, submit a request to the Support Team to have it re-opened.
Best practice is to include in field creation, a person or role who has the permission to enter or edit grades outside the Grading Period (like you!) that teachers can go to to edit or change grades. Review Create Report Card Field Groups on permissions or sharing.
Submit a request to the Support Team for assistance on how to best update your grading periods to assist you.
We Need To Make Some Changes to Fields While Teachers Are Entering Data
While some changes of how fields and value sets or scales can not effect previously entered scores, most can and will; leaving your teachers to have to reenter their report card data and information. Since a report card is specific to the grading period, reassessing to wait to create a new field or setting for the upcoming report card.
Visit Create Remaining Report Cards for review.
Typically, if there is an addition or added value to a value set for example, then there are no detrimental changes to already inputted scores. However for additional changes to a Value Scale, data links or data linked to a Report Card may be readjusted to fit the new addition. If teachers overwrite the value, it will be realigned to the new value scale.
