In this lesson you will review how to add or upload materials in a Manual/Hybrid Assessment.
Only the assessment author or a user with edit access can upload and attach materials to the assessment.
Where to Start
This lesson begins assuming you have already completed steps 1-3 in creating a Manual/Hybrid assessment. To learn more, go to Prepare Answer Key for a Manual/Hybrid Assessment.
Add Materials

- Click Upload.
- Drag and drop the materials attach into the box. Clicking into the box will give you an additional dialog box to select materials from your device.
- Click Attach.
Only PDF materials are supported as attachments.
Materials can be added at any time by going to the Setup tab of the assessment after exiting Creation Mode.
Material Options

- To manage uploaded materials, select the check box next ot the material.
- Click the cloud icon to download or trashcan icon to delete the selected material(s).
- Click Upload to continue adding materials.
Only have one material attached? That's ok! When getting started with Online Testing, If there is only one material attached to the test, the material becomes what students see when taking the assessment online.
Have more than one? That's ok too! Just keep in mind, you will have to choose the material to be shown on the screen for students, as opposed to a default chosen.
