This lesson will guide you through the process of creating creating the three different types of Skills Assessment questions.
Where to Start

- Go to Assessments.
- Select View Assessments.
- Select a Skills Assessment from the list.
- Click Manage Questions.
Basic Question
- Input a prompt. This is what the student will see. The font can also be changed.
- Input directions on how to assess the question. This will display at the bottom of the screen for students, and can also be read aloud by teachers (optional).
- Add Question Groups (optional).
- Click Create.
If you would like to create this question and immediately create another, click on the checkbox next to "Create Another" before clicking create. This will refresh the screen to allow you to immediately continue creating questions.
Image Question
- Input the title of the question.
- Click Upload an image to add an image to the question. Images can be resized by clicking and dragging the corners.
- Input directions on how to assess the question. This will display at the bottom of the screen for students, and can also be read aloud by teachers (optional).
- Add Question Groups (optional).
- Click Create.
If you would like to create this question and immediately create another, click on the checkbox next to "Create Another" before clicking create. This will refresh the screen to allow you to immediately continue creating questions.
Advanced Question
- Input the title of the question.
- Advanced questions allow for complete control over all aspects of the question:
- Add an image
- Add text & change the font and color
- Drawing tools
- Duplicate aspects of the question
- Input directions on how to assess the question. This will display at the bottom of the screen for students, and can also be read aloud by teachers (optional).
- Add Question Groups (optional).
- Click Create.
If you would like to create this question and immediately create another, click on the checkbox next to "Create Another" before clicking create. This will refresh the screen to allow you to immediately continue creating questions.
