This lesson will guide you through the process of creating creating the three different types of Skills Assessment questions and how to edit and delete questions.
Where to Start

1. Click on the Assessments tab.
2. Under General, select View Assessments.
3. Select a Skills Assessment from the list.
4. Click Manage Questions.
1. Input your prompt, this is what the student will see. For example, input A if the student will need to identify A aloud. Note you can also select a font below the prompt, sample of what it will look like will display on the screen.
2. Input directions on how to assess the question. For example, "What letter is this?" this will display at the bottom of the screen for students, and can also be read aloud by teachers. This is optional.
3. Question Groups- You may use group questions for reporting purposes, but it is not required.
4. Click Create.
If you would like to create this question and immediately create another, click on the checkbox next to "Create Another" before clicking create. This will refresh the screen to allow you to immediately continue creating questions.
1. Input the title of the question.
2. Upload an image. Click the button and select your image. It will display on the screen below. You can drag the edges to resize it.
3. Optional - Input directions on how to assess the question. For example, "What letter is this?" this will display at the bottom of the screen for students, and can also be read aloud by teachers.
4. Optional - Question Groups- You may use group questions for reporting purposes
5. Click Create.
If you would like to create this question and immediately create another, click on the checkbox next to "Create Another" before clicking create. This will refresh the screen to allow you to immediately continue creating questions.
1. Input the title of the question.
2. Creation - Advanced questions allow you to have complete control over all aspects of the question, along the edges of the screen you have tools to draw, add shapes, text, images, adjust fonts, delete, duplicate and more!
3. Optional - Input directions on how to assess the question. For example, "What letter is this?" this will display at the bottom of the screen for students, and can also be read aloud by teachers.
4. Optional - Question Groups- You may use group questions for reporting purposes.
5. Click Create.
If you would like to create this question and immediately create another, click on the checkbox next to "Create Another" before clicking create. This will refresh the screen to allow you to immediately continue creating questions.

Once you've created all the questions you wish, you will see a list of them on the Manage Questions page.
1. To access a question for editing, click on the question itself.
2. To delete a question, click Actions > Delete to the right of the question.
3. To duplicate a question, click Actions > Duplicate.
4. To add more questions, click + Add Question at the top of the page.
You cannot add or delete questions if student data has been added to the assessment (students have been tested).
