Logging on to SchoolCity Suite requires a User Name and Password. At first login, users can change the temporary password, if one has been provided. This document will review how to log on to SchoolCity Suite.
Where to Start

Open a browser (Firefox, Chrome, Safari), then navigate to your district’s SchoolCity Suite webpage or instance. You should receive your User Name and Password information from your District SchoolCity Suite administrator. Enter the User Name and Password you were provided and click on Sign In.
Change Your Password Dialog Box

At first log on with a temporary password, the Change Password dialogue box will automatically open.
- Your User Name will appear.
- Enter your old password (Schoolcity1).
- Enter your new password of at least 6 characters twice.
- Click Submit.
The same Change Password dialogue box will appear anytime your password is reset by your District SchoolCity Suite administrator. You can also contact your administrator if you want to reset your password.
Forgot Password?

- Click on Forgot Password below the Password box.
- In the Forgot Password dialogue box, enter your User Name and email address.
- Click Submit. A temporary password will be emailed to you OR you will be instructed to enter your Active Directory Username and Password.
Incorrect Portal Login Message

Students will be alerted with a message when they attempt to log into the Admin Portal with student login credentials. Similarly, when staff users attempt to log into the Student Portal with staff login credentials, they will be alerted with a message.
Alternative Logins

Single Sign On (SSO): SchoolCity offers districts alternative login methods for Staff and Students. SSO occurs when a user logs in to one application and is then signed in to other applications automatically, regardless of the platform, technology, or domain the user is using.
Clever SSO
The users are authenticated using oAuth method with Clever. User logs in to Clever and clicks on SchoolCity app.
Classlink SSO
The users are authenticated using oAuth method with Classlink. User logs in to Classlink and clicks on SchoolCity app.
Google SSO
The users are authenticated using oAuth method with Google. User clicks on “Sign in with Google” button in SchoolCity Suite login page.
Aeries SSO
The staff users are authenticated using SchoolCity SSO service. User logs in to Aeries and clicks on SchoolCity link. Aeries SSO is for STAFF only.
