The data source for this CAASPP File Edition report is a file provided by the State. Renaissance Learning does not manage this file, and is not responsible for any potential discrepancies associated with it.
Who is the intended audience?
Teachers and administrators.
What data is reported?
Total number of students tested, percent of students overall proficient and not proficient, percent of students in each overall performance level, the percent of students at each level by claim, and drilldowns show student demographics from California state data file.
How is the data reported?
Each section belongs to the grouping specified. Overall results are in a table and bar graph, and Claim level data is in a stacked bar graph. The report is drillable to provide a list and custom report with the students in each performance level.
This report uses the Group Students By feature to give users a choice as to how they wish to group students on the report, and include: Comprehensive (All students Selected), Site, Grade Level, Course, Teacher, or Section.
Claim statuses may occasionally add up to slightly different percentages than the Overall score. This is due to how the percentages are rounded by the DnA system, rather than any data inconsistencies.
Overall and Claim Performance can be compared in the updated multi-year version of the report. This is a non-cohort report when run for multiple years.
