This lesson will walk you through how to resolve duplicate usernames and emails. Please note you will need the permission to Edit Users (Modify user profile information and modify site/role affiliations (add, delete, edit)).
The default takes you to the Duplicate Usernames Page where any duplicate usernames will be displayed. To resolve any duplicate usernames select Resolve which is located on the far right side of the column.
1. Determine which account should have the username edited/changed.
2. Select edit (which is located on the far right hand side) for the username you would like to edit.
1. Edit the Username.
2. Select Save.
Continue resolving any duplicate usernames until none are showing.
