Year-to-Year User Rollover Process

The Year-to-Year Rollover process has been updated and streamlined for System Admin users preparing to update their DnA instances to the new academic year. The Year-to-Year Rollover tool features a new preparation menu, providing a walkthrough for each step needed to prepare the district instance for user rollover. Each step includes a link to the Site Management, Permissions, and Term Manager pages, which also provide a convenient return navigation to the Year-to-Year Rollover tool, ensuring a seamless setup experience.

Once rollover preparation has been completed, the Year-to-Year User Rollover tool itself has also received an update. The Current and New Terms load automatically, along with the user roles to roll over to the new academic year. Once copied, a confirmation message appears, guiding System Admin to the next step in the process, setting up the Core Data Import files.
These new process updates are intended to simplify the rollover process, and prevent errors from occurring where System Admin lose permissions during the rollover.
