If two students are attempting to log into the same test instance, the teachers and the second student logging in will receive a notification. The teacher will be notified two logins have been attempted and the student will be informed another student has already logged into the assessment. In these cases, force finishing an assessment can be used as a tool to ensure test integrity. This article guides users through Force Finishing an assessment and creating new quick code.
Required Permission: Online Testing - Create Quick Rosters
1. Force Finish an Assessment
- Select Assessments.
- Select View Assessments.
- Select the title of your assessment to open it.
- Go to Administration > Online Testing.
2. Generate a New Quick Code
- Select Assessments.
- Select View Assessments.
- Select the title of the assessment to open it.
- Go to Administration > Online Testing
- Select the Test with Quick Code button to create a new testing session.
- A roster will appear in the list of Active Administrations.
- Select Edit to configure Test Settings (Optional).
3. Providing the New Quick Code
When ready for the student to begin the test again, provide the code in the Auth Info column.
