Online Testing: Is there a way to test online testing features or settings without logging in as a student?

While we do have the ability to create test or "sandbox" sites for specific clients needing to test new modules or site setups, specifically those using Illuminate Student Information, there is not a test environment for online testing. Online testing requires an enabled portal even if districts are only using Quick Rosters for their student testing.

The best option for trying online testing features would be to use our built in preview tool.

    Navigation: Open Assessment>Administration>Online Testing>Preview Assessment

In rare circumstances, your implementation manager may recommend creating a fake student account to allow you to access online tests via a student portal account or by using the Quick Roster feature. This would need to be discussed in detail with your implementation manager as there are several steps you would need to take to get the fake account set up.
