    Hi, Kevin!

Unfortunately, at this time, custom rosters are not visible in the portal because the portal looks for published rosters. If you want to email us directly at help@illuminateed.com, we can work with you to see if there's a teacher that you could share your gradebook with that has them on their roster. That is the only way to make them visible right now. It's definitely something that is on our radar for future enhancements but won't be ready for immediate release.

    Thanks!

    Hi Kristin!

If the gradebook is shared with a teacher with the student on their roster would it then show up in the student's portal?

I tried this using a teacher's gradebook that contains students from multiple different teachers. We added one of the teachers to the sharing with the ability to view the gradebook. However, it does not show on the student's portal yet. Did I miss something or is this the part that does not work yet?

    Hi, Daniel!

So sorry for the delay! The teacher who has the students on the roster will need to link that gradebook to their rostered section under the Gradebook Details. It's important to share the gradebook with the permission to edit the gradebook settings but without the permission to view students.

I am looking for the same type of functionality.  I have legacy IEP's that are requiring modified grading scales.  If a teacher creates two gradebooks for the same section and the second one only has the student that needs the modified grading scale (a cusom roster), it does not show up in the teacher portal even though the teacher has that student in class.  Is there any way to create a secondary gradebook that will show up in the student/parent portal?
