    By default Illuminate is setup with the following grade levels:

    grade_level_id - short_name - long_name
    1 = K - Kindergarten
    2 = 1 - 1st Grade
    3 = 2 - 2nd Grade
    4 = 3 - 3rd Grade
    5 = 4 - 4th Grade
    6 = 5 - 5th Grade
    7 = 6 - 6th Grade
    8 = 7 - 7th Grade
    9 = 8 - 8th Grade
    10 = 9 - 9th Grade
    11 = 10 - 10th Grade
    12 = 11 - 11th Grade
    13 = 12 - 12th Grade
    14 = 13 - Graduated
    15 = PRE - Preschool
    17 = 17 - Special Ed Preschool
    18 = TK - Transitional Kindergarten

    If another grade level would like to be added, the setup would have to be done on the backend.  Send a ticket to help@illuminateed.com making a request to add another grade level with the following:

    Grade Level ID
    Short Name
    Long Name

    Example:
    20, PK4, Pre-K

    You can find the Grade Level ID’s coded/defined in the ie_export_script.sql file, which is usually found at
    c:\ps_illuminateed_exporter\ie_export_script.sql

    Here is an example of what it might look like:
    DEFINE IE_GRADE_LEVEL_ID = 'WHEN -2 THEN 15 WHEN -1 THEN 15 WHEN 0 THEN 1 WHEN 1 THEN 2 WHEN 2 THEN 3 WHEN 3 THEN 4 WHEN 4 THEN 5 WHEN 5 THEN 6 WHEN 6 THEN 7 WHEN 7 THEN 8 WHEN 8 THEN 9 WHEN 9 THEN 10 WHEN 10 THEN 11 WHEN 11 THEN 12 WHEN 12 THEN 13 WHEN 99 THEN 14'

    Is it possible to set up the grade levels in Illuminate as "PK4", "TK", "K", "1", "2"..etc?

    Hello Kim,

    Sorry for the late response...I wasn't getting the alerts from the board.  We can set Grade Levels as anything you want.  The Grade Level ID's can not be changed only new ones added.

    FYI - Grade Level ID's are ID's that relate to the actual Grade Level.
