    According to the definition adopted by the California State Board of Education (SBE), the "socioeconomically disadvantaged subgroup" consists of students who meet any of the following five criteria:

    • Neither of the student's parents has received a high school diploma (via Student Demographic Details).
    • The student is eligible for the free or reduced-price lunch program (via programs).
    • The student is Homeless (via Programs).
    • The student is Migrant (via Programs).
    • The student is under Foster Care (via Programs).
