California 3rd grade CAASPP ELA Performance Prediction Beta Study

The data science team at Illuminate has developed a predictive score that models a student’s future performance on the 3rd grade ELA CAASPP assessment. The model requires that students have ELA assessment scores from DIBELS Next, iReady, STAR, or NWEA MAP assessments loaded into Illuminate. Predictions are available for students as young as kindergarten. The predictive values are intended to help site and district leaders make strategic decisions about the allocation of time, resources, and curriculum for students.
